The traditional way of achieving different grain particle sizes in hammer mills is by manually changing the screen to desired size. This manual process a production procedure that time-consuming, demanding, and resource-draining. study incorporated identification speed control mechanism into mill machine. detection system recognizes type through an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) colour sensor. has been programmed trained vary 2hp electric motor with maximum 2800rpm based on colour-matching result obtained when scanned machine was evaluated using performance parameters such as power consumption sieve analysis milled grains three crops (yellow corn, white cowpea). Three were for milling at speeds (2800rpm, 2200rpm, 1800rpm), presented. paper showed fine, medium coarse aggregates all three-grain types varying speeds, eliminating need change screen. responsive selection programmed.
